Project “Clean Environment”. Summing up the results of 2020
Our project “Clean Environment” has been going on for the second year now.
Summing up the results of last year, we were amazed at the scale: in 2020, approximately 500 m³ of municipal solid waste and 250 m³ of recyclable waste were removed. In total, this is 750 m³ of garbage per year from just one small village!
Imagine what our outskirts would be like if we did not dispose of our waste products? A dense layer of bags, paper, glass, plastic, etc. would cover everything around! Thus, our business is not just useful, but vital, and therefore every inhabitant of the village must consciously and responsibly treat this issue.
Look at how many villages are suffering from pollution, and their inhabitants are paying for their carelessness with their health. We have the opportunity to prevent this – and you just need to adhere to 2 simple, but very important rules:
- Sort garbage using the installed containers.
- Timely pay for waste removal.
Due to the increase in tariffs, the cost of garbage collection increased in 2021, and the minimum level of payment, which makes it possible to continue garbage collection, is 50 UAH per month from one yard. However, taking into account the possibilities of different categories of citizens, we propose to establish a preferential cost for low-income citizens and pensioners – UAH 30 per month from 1 yard.
So, we invite everyone to take part in the discussion. Agree, the indicated amounts (considering that this is a payment once a month) is not a very high price for our health and well-being.
