Congratulations to all on the Feast of the Holy Trinity!

Green Holidays, Green Sunday, Pentecost (celebrated on the 50th day from Easter) – this is how the people call the Day of the Holy Trinity, symbolizing the beginning of a new life, the renewal of all living things. This is a holiday of calmness, joy, peace and renewal.

The feast in honor of the Holy Trinity was established by the disciples of Jesus Christ, the apostles. By this, they wanted to consolidate in the memory of people the event that took place on the 50th day after the Resurrection of the Lord. According to biblical legends, on that day the Holy Spirit descended on these apostles, who by that time had already been praying for 50 days in a row in the Zion Sanctuary, which became the first Choristian temple.
